2nd Shift NDT/FPI Inspector (Level II)

Level II NDT/FPI Inspector required on 2nd shift at our precision manufacturing client near Windsor, CT. Direct-hire position, not a temp or contract, with competitive compensation and full benefits.

• Perform NDT Level II inspection of jet engine parts & components.
• Perform routine maintenance as needed, including checking all fluid levels and concentrations, inspection of NDT equipment.
• Adhere to all Company safety policies & procedures, both general and specific to the NDT unit.
• Have good comprehension of QMS practices and requirements of the Quality Dept.
• Ability to comprehend all safety manuals & instructions, proficiency with MS Office Suite, general computer literacy commensurate with responsibilities of the position.

• HS diploma or GED; tech school a plus
• Current ASNT and/or NAS Penetrant Inspection Level II certification needed to qualify for consideration.
• 2 years' min. professional NDT/FPI experience
• Exhibit physical & manual dexterity required to perform job successfully.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to utilize hazardous & non-hazardous chemicals with various operating temperatures.

2nd shift Mon - Fri (3:30am - 12:00pm)

• 2nd shift new hires will train for 60-90 days on 1st shift.
• Pay differential for second shift is 10%.
