2nd Shift Quality Inspector (Jet Engines)

Quality Inspector with experience on aircraft jet engines required on 2nd shift at our precision manufacturing client near Windsor Locks, CT. Direct-hire position, not a temp or contract, with competitive compensation and full benefits.

• Requires 3 years' minimum experience inspection work on aircraft jet engines.
• Perform maintenance, repair and overhaul inspections on aviation engines in an AS9100/ISI9001 environment.
• Display solid mechanical skills & expertise, good hand/eye co-ordination, and dexterity in the use of precision measuring devices (calipers, micros, gauges, etc.)
• Blueprint reading & interpretation; comprehension of customer’s tech manuals & service bulletins.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

• HS diploma or GED (tech school and/or military training a plus)
• Min. 3 years' inspection experience on aircraft turbine engines.
• A/P license preferred, but not required.

2nd shift Mon - Fri (3:30pm - 12:00am)

• 2nd shift new hires will train for 60-90 days on 1st shift.
• Pay differential for second shift is 10%.
