Job Description:

Imagine a career at Hydromat, full of intellectual challenges and opportunities to grow by further developing your craft. Automation Technicians are integral in developing and troubleshooting automated components. This includes robotic, vision and other motion-control systems. This position provides support to the Hydromat Electrical Assembly and Engineering Departments through design and troubleshooting.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities and is required to work effectively with people in all levels of the organization.

This position requires flexibility with scheduling and the ability to travel as business needs dictate, up to 25%. The normal schedule will be Monday-Friday.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent, and 2-5 years engineering experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting. Must have experience with PLCs.  The qualified individual will be self-motivated, goal-driven, work well in both team and individual environments. Must be able to work safely, recognize and correct unsafe conditions, and select appropriate PPE based on job requirements.
