Job Description:

Helper/apprentice in our machining department. You’ll help us operate CNC lathes and mills and a variety of other manual machines, creating precision aluminum and steel parts and tools.

Duties include:

  • Second operations and general shop work such as drilling, deburring, tapping, sanding, assembly, calibration, etc.
  • CNC and manual machine operation, tending, and maintenance
  • Part inspection and quality control operations conforming to strict tolerance requirements
  • Dependable, hard-working, mechanically inclined, and motivated
  • Interested in learning and using basic machining skills and CNC machine operation
  • Looking to be part of a fast-paced, fast-growing, industry-leading company
  • Able to lift 40 pounds, regularly
  • Ability to stand on your feet for long periods
  • A team player who works well with others and is trainable
  • A good communicator with basic shop math skills and some blueprint reading abilities
  • Willing and able to do production work for 10 hours a day
  • Free from illegal drug use or chemical dependency
