Machinist Apprentices will complete an 8000-hour training program focused on achieving a Journeyman Machinist card including, NIMS credentialing for machining Level I &II. Apprentices work side-by-side with technicians and attend 576 hours of theoretical classroom training to perfect their craft and become the top tier of their trade. Schedules are set, with first shifts available immediately.
To qualify for a position in Hydromat’s apprenticeship program, you need a strong work ethic, high school diploma/equivalent, and NIMS level I credentials or equivalent basic machining knowledge. Technical associates degree highly preferred.
