Job Description
Our client is currently seeking a Quality Engineer for their manufacturing facility in the Reno, NV.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the plant’s quality program
- Ensure assembly operations meet company and customer specifications.
- Manage new processes and implementation in regard to new product launches
- Participate on plant continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in customer meetings
- Participate in quality reporting and management review process.
- Provide process improvement recommendations
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering or a technical degree required
- 3+ years’ experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Quality Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with formal Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement projects
- Six Sigma Green Belt training or certification highly preferred.
- Strong computer skills for Minitab or other statistical software packages
